Help the Beaver Family!!!
This family has been through two house fires and a flood and through all of this, they keep giving and giving. They have started a non-profit organization called Out of the Ashes to assist other victims of fire. Norene has travelled to Southern California and to South Carolina all at her own expense to assist the victims of the large wildfires recently. She spends hours compiling contact information for victims across the country to send them information on how to handle their recovery and claim with their insurance company, again, all at her own expense. They are in the process of starting a second organization to assist families that have been passed over by EMHE and just need a little bit of help. She has been able to get hot water to a family in NC that hasn't had it in 7 years, a $10k grant to a family in GA that adopts autistic children to make repairs to their home, a ceiling lift for a student at SWMU and the list goes on. This past weekend she participated in her church's Go Sunday. The church first approached her asking if they could work on her home, but knowing that it would take all the resources away from other projects she declined so that 75 other projects around the community could be completed. However, even with all of the knowledge this wonderfully giving woman has, she cannot help her family repair their own home. She has done everything the insurance company asked her to do, but still they refuse to honor the bids she has received and have not given them enough money to rebuild. Some contractors from our church have come forward and offered some supplies and services but so much more is needed. And as of August 31st, the insurance company will no longer be paying their rent so now they have to figure out a way to not only make repairs to their home, but to pay rent and a mortgage at the same time.
A website has been set up for the family at www.helpthebeaverfamily.com
The website for one of their organizations is www.outoftheasheswa.org

TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE - THEY NEED YOUR HELP NOW!!!
We don't know of a more deserving family or a family that matches the spirit of Extreme Makeover Home Edition more than the Beaver Family. Please knock on their door before they loose what is left of their home.
Thank you in advance for any consideration you can give to this family.
