Many petitions may have been written in the hopes of diminishing and even fully ridding the pollution we have created for our world for many years.Creating a better and brighter future for ourselfs as well as for our younger generations.
That does not mean we need to ignore the problems and give up on a major solution towards resolving these issues.
We have been "talking" about our global problems for many years now,though we continue to pump out unhealthy levels of greenhouse gases each day with our cars and our everyday technology.We need to end the problem now and to stop "talking" about one we may someday resolve these problems.We are finding out quickly that our deadline for a "someday" may have just about expired.
I have been reading many online petitions and have noticed most of which I have read are only asking for local help and resolve.
It's true our own individual nation(s) seem to reflect greatly on our desires for positive change.
As it may be also true that many of us as a people have not had the opportunity to see outside of our own personal reasons for change.
Within this petition I would like to address the condition of our world today.Not just as our own individual nation(s),but as our entire world,our home.
This petition will address our current and in my opinion,most troubling planetary issue to date.That is global warming.
We as a human race have seem to come so very far just within this last century.We have been witness to so many atrocities as well as so much beauty.Even after witnessing all these many accomplishments,we are destroying so much of ourselves and of our world.
Forests are being cleared away,taking away trees that absorb the carbon dioxide in our air and then replenishes that same air with life giving oxygen.
Taking these natural wonders is also leaving our wildlife without homes for they're young.Without these forests,our planet is quickly filling up with noxious greenhouse gases,causing health problems for us as well as for our own children.
My message is to our individual's in congress.With this petition I propose we create a better plan for our future.With our help it can be a brighter one.
For every tree cut down plant ten more.
We have the technology to create and utilize cleaner energy as well as precious fuels.
Stop the use of nuclear power and replace it with clean,more effective wind power.
Stop dumping harmful substances into our lakes and oceans.Ban boats and ships that use toxic fuel and replace those ships with clean fuels and energy.
In my own area,I have seen so much wildlife killed by our own ignorance.
This is not justice nor freedom,the freedom of life we were once promised.
In conclusion,I would like to ask all of you,not only as a local nation but as a world of brothers and sisters to please consider a cleaner and better way of life.For our own lives to be that much more because of one voice.
Think of your own families and loved ones.Your family pets and your dearest of friends.
Vote yes to change.Please tell congress it's time for that long awaited change and a new hope for our future. signersigner
