Nebraska's Employment Laws Favor the Rich

Unbeknownst to most working Nebraskans, the employment laws favor the business sector and unethical business owners. The burden of proof of unemployment is unfairly placed on the unemployed worker, to prove he is not receiving work. A Nebraska worker has to pursue their former employer for work, inspite of not receiving work or inspite of receiving notices of no work available.
The unemployed citizen's rights are literally in fine print in NE Dept of Labor documents. The business has no burden of proof when submitting their point of view or any standard to establish the aithenticity of the documents they submit in the hearing. The unemployed therefore has no unemployment benefits, no money and no legal representation, as Legal Aid does not help workers who need to file in District Court.
We the undersigned urge you and the Commissioner of Labor to review and revise the employment laws in Nebraska that are biased toward businesses against the workers and citizens of Nebraska. The Department of Labor begins with the assumption the unemployed worker is "guilty" and has the burden of proof to establish "innocense." The playing field is not fair.
