parents against having dogs

My parents will not let me have a dog. I have no brothers or sisters all I have  is one useless bird , a hamster and two cats. I get bored on my own and would like to have some company. I have promissed to clean it's mess up and walk it in any weather. Please give support. They are looking for over 5000 votes. Please help me i will be very greatful.
