Pass harsher laws against animal abusers in Ohio

Ohio's laws are far too lax when it comes to animal abuse and neglect. In our county, you can let a dog freeze to death on a heavy chain outside and for punishment, receive three days jail time and a court ordered letter of apology in the newspaper. I say "enough is enough"

Animals deserve rights also. They are the "Silent Victims" in our society.

I feel if you abuse or neglect any animal, you go to jail and I do not mean for only 3 days. These negligent pet owners should never be permited to own an animal again. The repeat offenders are caught again and again.

Please help me so I can help them by signing this petition. Even if you are not from Ohio-we need to show everyone we are serious about this and it is a widespread belief. Laws can be changed-please do the same in your state.
