Protest illegal whale slaughter in Sthrn Ocean

The Taiji Dolphin Action Groups are a group of passionate people dedicated to the protection of marine life worldwide, focusing on the slaughter of innocent dolphins and whales by the Japanese Government and fishermen.

Recently, the Japanese Government sanctioned Shonan Maru No. 2, brutally and intentionally attacked the lives of the Sea Shepherd crew aboard the Ady Gil, endangering all occupants and illegally ignoring distress calls immediately after. These human lives were treated with the same contempt and lack of respect afforded the whales in the Southern Ocean by the Japanese officials.

We, the undersigned, vehemently oppose the sanctioned slaughter of whales in the Southern Ocean by Japanese officials in the guise of Scientific Research. We call upon the Japanese Consulate to call for the cessation of this barbaric, torturous inhumane activity which serves only to line the dinner plates of unsuspecting Japanese citizens, immediately.
