Purchased refuse cart reimbursement $90.00

Waste Management has negotiated a contract with the village of Plainfield, IL to provide 96 gallon waste and recycle carts to residents free of charge.  The notices sent to residents did not mention the increase in service rates (3 - 3.25%).  The village of Plainfield did not negotiate reimbursement of previously purchased waste carts for residents.  Waste Management's position is that no consideration is being given or considered.  The village of Plainfield, in addition to not holding competitive bidding for waste services, is also offering no recourse.  
This petition is seeking credit for residents who previously purchased waste carts.  Please support this humble cause by signing this petition.
