All electronic devices, even when their turned off, use lots of energy. In New Zealand there is a way to solve this problem, electric outlets have on/off switches. We need those in the United States to reduce the amount of electricity we use.
When we have electronic devices that are pluged in, even when they're turned off, they use HUGE amounts of electricity. With on/off switches on electric outlets we would save lots of energy.
We the undersigned understand how important it is to protect our environment. We believe that our electrical outlets should have on/off switches to save electricity.
It's very important to preserve the earth. With switches on electrical outlets electrical devices won't use energy unless their turned on.
