Save Patrick Henry Murphy From the Executioner

Dear Governor Perry and Distinguished Members of the TX Board of Pardons and Parole,

We the undersigned are family members, friends and supporters of Patrick Henry Murphy. We are petitioning you in an attempt to prevent Patrick from being unjustly executed. Patrick has never murdered anyone. He was convicted under the controversial Law of Parties. Patrick was across the street from the scene when the shooting took place and did not take part in the murder. This unfair law requires a defendant to predict or anticipate the possibility that a murder could occur. Patrick was no more a mind reader than any of us could be. The evidence was so overwhelming that Patrick was neither on scene nor the shooter that the prosecutor didn't even present that argument to the jury.
