stop shark tournaments

In 2004,12 million sharks were caught in U.S. waters.Fisherman in shark tournaments will hook,gaff,and killed(battered to death,shot with a gun,or die from suffercation from bieng out of the water,or bleed to death.)Although it might not be as bad as shark finning for the chinese delacacy shark fin soup,it still kills the coastal migrating sharks.Each day of a shark tournament, there could be 50 boats out and each one kills about 10 sharks......thats about 500 sharks a day!!!!! One incedent with the"Humane Society of The United States saw fisherman bring in a live thresher shark (www.youtube.com/watch?v=WfDfj-wm5jM) and everyone was laughing at its suffering while it was on the weighing dock.Why do it,fisherman do it for money,fear,trophie,bragging rights,and for fun!!How can you help,dont support tournaments and sighn this petition and share with your friends:)
