Stop Turkey's plan to build 2 nuclear power plants

Turkey is planning on building 2 nuclear power plant by 2023, like 1 wasn't enough!! After the disaster in Japan don't they know how bad it is? By building 2 power plants, they would spoil the country's beautiful nature! Let me just list a few disadvantages of building one: - nulear waste - effects on the environment - earthquake area, therefore risk of power plant damage - effect on marine life - risk of meltdown -radioactivity - less tourists -ugly view- uranium takes a very long time to cool down etc... Why spend $20 billion on building power plants when they can spend it on building wind turbines and solarpanels? Please help Turkey bring at least a little common sense into them so they stop the plan. It's not just Turkey's business, it's the world's. Help make a a greener future
We the undersigned are against the plan in building two nuclear power plant in Turkey. As you may know nuclear power has many disadvantages and consequences, with the power plants in Turkey these risks would be higher. It is a country that receives many earthquakes and has two major fault lines that can cause disastrous quakes that would harm the power plants like the one in Japan recently. We wouldn't want to have future problems with nuclear power, and neither would our future generations. Thank you for taking the time to read this letter, it means a lot to us.
