We the undersigned do hereby acknowledge our elderly citizenry as building blocks of the city of Roseboro, NC and in doing so we respectfully urge the City of Roseboro to officially acknowledge our elderly citizenry as follows:
1. That our citizenry having reached the age of 80 holds a special place in the heart of Roseboro, NC,
2. That our citizenry having reached the age of 80 needs to be exempt from the excessive water bill past due fees for an addition period of 30 days after the last fee would normally be applied,
3. That our citizenry having reached the age of 80 should be extended the courtesy of a telephone call within 10 days of a water bill being past due as a reminder
4. That our citizenry having reached the age of 80 shall be extended the courtesy of being allowed 60 days to pay their past due water bill prior to any collection effort
It is with great respect for our elderly citizenry that we gratefully acknowledge their presence in the City of Roseboro, NC and by passing this resolution extend our humble Thanks and Honor to them.
