A crusade to root out Piracy and Adulteration
2nd WORLD ANTIPIRACY AWARENESS DAY
Millions of people die every year through consumption of adulterated products from our country. This is not only causing human losses but also huge economy losses to the Govt. The alarming rate at which Piracy and Adulteration has reached is above 40%.
Furthermore, The recent RAND report( a well documented proof) has brought the startling fact that the Syndicate of these pirates run by the underworld,have been funding the terrorist outfits like the Al quaeda, and other organizations, through the Rs.300 crores earned from Piracy only from the bollywood industry from our country. Imagine the monies ( 40 %) earned through piracy and adulteration alone would be more than the monies collected through Taxes in our country by the Govt.
Piracy/adulteration is a menace round the world.This problem defies geographical boundaries and its imperative that the world community with the help of Govt. joins forces to fight against it. To Add a step towards creating awareness about piracy and adulteration, we at Antipiracy worldwide( a proposed NGO) are organizing the global 2ND WORLD ANTIPIRACY AWARENESS DAY on the 18th August 2009 in Mumbai.
The primary agenda would be to persuade the government to create a distinct entity under its aegis to solely deal with piracy/Adulteration related issues.
It is high time, we as a responsible citizens of India and all the communities and the Govt. get together and eradicate this menace of Piracy and adulteration from our country in joining the drive – I Hate Fake, Come Clean India.%u2028
