BSL (Breed Specific Legislation) is the practice of using physical characteristics to make judgements regarding temperament in dogs...specifically "pitbull type." Once again, we are using physical appearance as a measurement of trustworthiness and value...similar to hate crimes perpetrated by opposing human ethnic groups around the world.
There is no scientific data to justify this. This is truly a modern-day WITCH HUNT to undermine our rights to be safe from unwarranted search and seizure and that "no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause." There is nothing to indicate that dogs of a specific body-type are more inclined toward attacks upon human beings than any other breed.
We are calling upon you to outlaw breed discrimination due to lack of scientific evidence that these breeds are more dangerous than any other.
