Stop the Inhumane Donkey Basketball Fundraiser at Brunswick City Rec Center

"Fun for the whole family," said the email I received from my child's school principal. The high school of Brunswick, Ohio, has organized an after=prom "Donkeyball" fundraiser to be held at our community Rec center. Donkey basketball involves grown adults riding donkeys while attempting a game of basketball.

Whoever this is fun for, it is certainly not such for the donkeys. The poor creatures will be forced into a gymnasium filled with bright lights, hundreds of people, loud noises and shouting. All they can expect is to be ridden upon, pulled and prodded across a hard slab floor, all while being expected to comply.

Animals do not exist not for our entertainment! Donkey basketball is inhumane, a form of cruelty, and a form of bullying! Please stand by me and sign this petition. Let's shut down DonkeyBall!
