Bring phones back to WFS now!!

This petition is being drafted in regard to the recent addition to the handbook which bans phone usage, by students and teachers, on school grounds from the hours of 0800 and 1500. Students as well as teachers often need to contact their close relatives through their cell phones because of certain limitations-- in order to participate in certain activities.

Many students participate in Quaker sports each season and each day, some may forget some of their equipment, without phones many will not be able to contact their parents. in time. If the students can not text or call their parents to ask them to bring their equipment, those students can not participate.

Are the hardworking WFS staff really expected not to answer their phones if they have young children, or elderly relatives. Many people simply would not be able to comply with these rules when they have to pick their kid up from school and other such parental duties.

Juniors and seniors often have long free periods in which they wish to listen to music and sometimes, yes, contact friends. Communication is healthy, music is healthy. Please sign this petition now!! --and help our cause!
