Residents of Portsmouth Road South, safety and security

The conditions for the safety of residents, pedestrians, cyclists and road users on Portsmouth Road South, Hindhead is less than satisfactory. We wish to bring about improvements to the road that will maximise the safety of residents and reduce the risk of serious accidents occurring. It has become imperative now that new homes have been built along the length of the road making it a residential area. Improvements such as road markings, widening of the road, unobtrusive street lighting, reduced speed limit, speed warning signage and possible traffic calming devices should all be considered.
