A clause buried deep in the bill says that husbands of women seeking abortions, if they are the father, can sue the abortion provider. If the pregnant woman is a minor, her parents can sue the provider, too. These civil lawsuits could prevent physicians from going through with the procedure. And there is no exception for men who have committed rape.
