Immigrants of any national origin or race are always discriminated by most commen terms. Let it be a Mexican called a 'Good for nothing wetback', or a French individual a 'snail eating slob', Everyone has been in thatof posit position. One person of the same origin always makes the other look bad, and all of what's been going on for the past few years with Immigration do's and dont's have been making this idea an eyesore.
But I'm going to get to the point now, we have all seen the issues going on in Mexico, and how most reside here illegally. Why do you think they come here? So they can spread all the bad doing, or so they can live and reside in a more comftrable and secure nation with very little issues so the ones with families can raise their children with the life and education they need?
According to sources:
. There are over 11.2 Million Immigrants in the United States alone (in 2011), The same results can be seen in 2009.
. 396'906 Immigrants were deported last year.
. 55% of Immigrants deported last year had felonies or misdemeanors.
Here's where I stop with the facts, what about the other 45%, who possibly have been living their entire life in the U.S, trying to avoid political or personal issues from whereverthey came from? What if one of the 45% of Immigrants was a young man who has been loyal and had top notch performance had an education in the United States, tried to help accomplish their dream by helping the nation, or even create new ideas to help us accomplish feats during our soical or business life, was deported due to illegal status and could not help in any way.
Does it seem fair to kick someone out, who has been loyal, knowing what would happen if he were caught, tried make a change in his life and the nation's?
Anyone, as long as they have lived longer than five consequitive years and know English (and have been loyal to state and federal law) should have the right to claim citizenship.
My cause may not seem so convincing, but think about the lives of many, and how they would be changed.
