For far too long, a menace to the citizens of our communities has been allowed to continue his criminal acts, violent and non-violent. Fraud, thefts, drug dealing, terrorizing, stalking and violent abuse of women and children. The District Attorney's office has continually offered minimal bail, plea bargains and/or fines and let loose to continue doing the same thing, and ignoring the rights of protection of the multiple victims of this man. Two of the three local communities have no on-site police force and are forced to have long response times and left with little recourse. He has proven with his violent history to be getting more and more dangerous to anyone around him. His drug dealing has endangered more and more of his neighborhood and our citizens, the drug dealing elements he has at his place of residence at all times, some even residing there, are just as dangerous and criminal and thus endangers the neighborhood. The community is disgusted with our justice system constantly allowing this man to continue his criminal acts of violence. This man has over 30+ pages of violent and dangerous criminal history and by continually being allowed minimal to no punishment, has become emboldened to do more. Every time he's beaten a woman they offer him the minimal 2 years. ENOUGH! Before the August 3rd hearing, We the Citizens of Hancock County, demand that the District Attorney and the Court, who is there to serve the public, do the job they took an oath to do, revoke his probation in full, charge him for the violation of protection order, protect our communities from this man, prosecute to the very fullest for all crimes committed. He has violated the Federal Gun Control Act as well as multiple other Federal crimes and as such Matt Foster needs to notify all appropriate federal agencies this time and we demand that be done.
