Supporting Our Local Artists
We have come to the point of failure from our local radio station. Why is it a local radio station won't play local music. It's not that we love to hear the same songs over and over again. But the fact our local artists are denied the opportunity on the same radio station they support, is completely unacceptable. Please support!
We have come to the point of failure from our local radio station, KJAMZ. As a local, artist, listener, and an avid supporter for local KJAMZ events, I am disappointed by the denial of local artists from our only hip-hop radio station. There are several events held by the company every year that asks for local support, but artists can never get the reciprocal from our emcees or dj's. But we know the buck doesn't stop with them. We are challenged every step of the way in just submitting a song through the appropriate channels. The worst part about it is going to other cities and hearing the local stations play LOCAL music. We refuse to be ignored any longer. Please support local artists or we will no longer be able to support our local radio station. ...Thankfully Serious.
