Demand Missouri Govenor to re-evaluate parole criteria

In Missouri parolees are being harshly punished for petty violations. Although a violation is serious, the punishment should match the violation. Parolee's are being sentenced to 15 plus months in maximum security prisons for offenses such as absconding. Although, semi serious offense, offenders are being mandated to stay in the state of Missouri unless they have immediate family else where, leaving an offender who is not married but has support else where mandated to stay in a state where they have nothing. Potentially putting an offender at risk of committing another crime or falling victim to mental health issues such as depression.
Missouri is holding people hostage for their own benefits, making it that a parolee has to get a job, living space, and pay taxes where as if the individual was able to move to a state where they had support being married or not or just close friends crime rate and mental health rates may not be on the rise.
I'm requesting Govenor Mike Parson's to re evaluate the current policy for interstate compact, although it is understanding it is receiving state decision. The policy needs to be updated to allow parolees to live where there support system is. Also, to re-evaluate policy in petty parole violation and the punishment that goes along side it.
