When police arrived at a property in Connecticut to investigate health and safety violations as well as drug sales and violence, they did not expect to find
the decaying corpses of dead dogs scattered in various locations. But that's exactly what they discovered. Additionally, the property had exposed electrical wires sticking out, dog feces covering the floors, and lack of food and water for several still-living animals.

He led them to all the secret locations where the dogs' bodies were stored, including in a basement, an outhouse, and part of the yard, where a dog had been buried in a trash bag that was still "sticking out of the ground."
One dog had apparently died via electrocution after chewing on the exposed wires. That dog's remains had been placed inside a plastic bin. Several other bodies were stored under a carpet inside the outhouse. And a fifth was buried in a trash bag. The informant also said another 12 dogs had died in the past year due to diseases.
Four pit bulls and three puppies were still alive, so authorities rescued them from the property before additional horrors could unfold.
Officials have arrested the man who owned all these dead and living animals, and charged him with 11 counts of animal cruelty.
