Stop Environmental Protection Rollbacks!!

I am contacting you regarding the proposed roll back of the methane gas and clean water regulations.

You are in a position that is supposed to protect the environment. It's the sole purpose of your office. That is your responsibility. Since this new administration, there have only been people in your position whose goal is to end every kind of protection for air, water, animal and land. All so billionaires can save a buck.

Even oil and gas companies are againt these rollbacks! Even they are starting to understand that there are more important things than to consider. Apparently you and your current administration are far more concerned with money than the environment you are supposed to be protecting. How much money is enough? What happens to your kids and their kids in the future when what oxygen there is is toxic? In your mind, what is enough of a cost to the world to make you do your job and not be a yes man to this president. Other countries look to the United States' actions. What we do here influences the world. President Bolsonaro is an example. Our actions make it ok for others to behave the same. Do you have any idea of what responsibility you hold?

The argument that these companies that save money by polluting everything and everywhere will monitor themselves and make some kind of effort is a ludicrous lie and you know it. The argument that there is no such thing as global warming is stunning. You know that's a ridiculous excuse. Scientists across the globe who have studied their whole lives, who see the changes first hand, who are professionals and experts in their fields are blatantly ignored. The whole topic is so ignored they are not even allowed to use real terminology in public forums. Apparently your boss knows about all these things better than all these experts do. When are you going to admit it because we are running out of time to fix it?

It's all about the money.

It is truly devastating, heartbreaking & disgusting. Everytime I hear about a new roll back I literally break down in tears. I actually feel despair when I think about the future. I don't know how you live with yourself. You are effectively ruining our planet. But of course, and despite the fact that the majority OF THE WORLD wants climate change addressed, you will probably read this, roll your eyes as if you are superior and do absolutely nothing. You should be ashamed.

How about standing up for what's right, for what your are supposed to do. How about you dare to be honest with yourself and your boss.
