Airport parking fees for Taxi and private hire

Airports are now charging more and more for parking this is having an increased effect on Taxi and private hire companies. Luton Airport who now charge £2.50 to drop off and £2.50 to pick up, Stansted Airport charge the same but with additional charges if you are there more than ten minutes which could be difficult with elderly clients and those with mobility equipment. If you exit and re-nter drop off area within 30mins you are then liable for a £20 fine and not allowed to exit until paid.  

The other airports allow drop off free of charge but not pick up. We have to entre carparks to meet clients, there is also the issue of not being able to find parking spaces. The average cost to park if you can find a space is £6.70 and this additional cost to clients could stop them using our services with the danger of us loosing employment.
