Teens from all over the country, 14-17, were overjoyed to hear the news that Disney was accepting national video auditions for a fourth movie of the beloved franchise, High School Musical. However, the only way to audition was to upload the video through the low-rated and low-quality Disney Applause app. http://www.mobilemarketer.com/cms/news/software-technology/22307.html
Teens were given April 16th to May 2nd to upload their video to the Disney Applause App. Some succeeded, but a decent amount failed to submit their video on time...And a decent amount of THOSE teens were not at fault. Because of the app's constant malfunctions, crashes and bugs, more low ratings, reviews and complaints were added to the already low-reviewed app. Some dissappointed, some pleading for more time, and others outright enraged and frustrated with all of their hard work going down the drain because of Disney's poor quality app being the only way to audition. Including me.
Our goal is to have at least 1000 signatures on this petition before the High School Musical 4 cast is picked, so maybe about June 5th. So whether parent, guardian or a teen victim of this unfair situation, I encourage you to sign this petition to not only extend the video audition acception date, but to make Disney more aware of their malfunctioning app and fix as many bugs as they can so this issue will not happen again.
A decent amount of teens 14-17 all over the country who have worked very hard on their audition videos are left in disappointment because of the low rated, low reviewed and low quality Disney Applause app's crashes and bugs, preventing them from submitting their talent and dedication for the High School Musical 4 audition. If you are a parent, guardian or a teen victim of this unfair situation, I encourage you to sign this petition to not only to extend the audition date, but to make Disney more aware of their malfunctioning app and have them fix the bugs and crashes all together so this issue won't happen again.
