In 1994, Ken Grant, a Grace Construction employee in Cambridge, Massachusetts, wrote a book about the good and bad experiences he had while in state child care as an orphan of nearly 18 years. He changed the names places to protect indivdual identities while conveying the events. In 1995, Grant was termnated under suspicious circumstances from Grace and blackballed in references. Grant,unknown to himself, had been involved in the health tragedy involving water pollution and Woburn,Mass. as outlined in "A Civil Action" by Jonathan Harr. His mother was said to have been among the first Woburn citizens in the 1960s to raise a question as to what was going on with the water and paid for it for the rest of her life until her suspicious,untimely death. In 1980, another man appeared in Woburn bearing the same name and apparently creating an alter ego for Grant to cause him damage for the next 30 years and more.
In 1995, close friends began abandoning Ken in droves. He had been incessangtly audited by the IRS, had money missing from bank accounts with Fleet Bank never explained, and the 3 essential elements for anyone's stability tampered with:1)housing,2)job/income,3)transportation. Over the next 15 years from 1995 onward, Grant became virtually unemployable and was forced into homelessness,bankruptcy and utter destitution. He was unable to get medical care for 15 years. His phone lines were tampered with and pretense job interviews arranged, in which interviewers tried to assess his knowledge of his family history and Woburn while a book manuscript and movie script ("The Wanderer")circulated around Hollywood put forward by a proponent of Governor Paul Cellucci.
An attempt was even made to lure him into a doctors office in which the goal was to have him committed involuntarily, therefore to be doped up and left to rot. His vehicles were tampered with as well as phone lines(in an effort to thwart attempts at finding work). A number of interviews in which great jobs were dangled then pulled away were given, some making references to various government agencies.
This whole effort appeared to be aimed at driving to suicide a man who simply wanted to thank the good people in his life and highlight the dangers befalling highly vulnerable children. Written from a unique perspective of someone who grew up without any parents or real stability and lack of support system who has had to fend for themselves. The works were not to glorify himself, but to raise awareness of the world.
Ken Grant has also been blackballed because the federal government appropriated a chemical tracking database he worked on as a Wr Grace employee working with Corbus software of Kennet Square,Penn. called Prolab. Its use being apprehended under guise of eminent domain.
Grant has also been restricted to employers with business and governmental ties back to Wr Grace in which the work environment is used to badger,harass and torment, such as Home Depot and others.
