NFRA...ATTACK ON ICAI AUTONOMY

New Companies Bill, incorporates a clause for setting up NFRA..a quasi judicial authority to take away two important powers of ICAI(1) To issue Accounting Standards and (2) To take disciplinary action against ICAI members

To raise voice against this discrimination by regulators against the members of ICAI....Why such regulatory body only for the members of ICAI and why other professionals are not covered by any such authority

With this move autonomy of ICAI is in danger....
