Support Fort Sill

Lawton will not make it if Ft. Sill is downsized. It will not only impact the citizens on Ft. Sill who are losing their jobs, but it will also impact sales, income, employment, and population. Most businesses in Lawton thrive because of Ft. Sill, and the potential loss of population of 6,800 will be devastating to our community. These accusations have been brought up before, but with the Army downsizing this can become a reality. People who have not been directly affected do not see it as a big threat, but let us keep from being affected at Fort Sill. There is a lot of analyzing that goes into affect when making a big consideration like this so our community has to stick together as one to show that we are a strong community. It is worth it to keep our base open.
