Cigarette butts are the #1 most littered item on the globe. Every day, 18 billion cigarettes are smoked. That means there are 18 billion cigarette filters left behind.

They end up in our oceans and rivers, in animals stomachs and inevitably harm our environment.

As a society we’ve dealt with plastic straws, plastic bags, and other single-use pollutants: Now the time for cigarette filters has come. Let’s force Big Tobacco to use their dollars to innovate, and change from their toxic plastic-acetate filters.
