Revitalize Northwood Plaza in Newington, CT

Northwood Plaza in Newington, Connecticut once was a thriving connection of businesses that served as an anchor for the center of town.  It offered a large grocery store, drugstore, restaurants and retail shops, and made Newington Center a viable place to be.  

Since the grocery store closed, the plaza has deteriorated to the point where only a few businesses are hanging on.  It has become unsightly and an irrelevant part of what was once an active town center.  

Our town especially needs a grocery store in the center!
