Save African Lions from being MEALS!

Recently I discovered that Restaurants in many of the United States are serving African Lion meat on the menu as well as other exotic animals; The act of killing and eating Lions is approved by the FDA. There are Lion farms where the Lions are bred for their meat. The Exotic Meat Company concerned is also proposing to sell tiger meat as well. Tigers are listed on CITES as being critically endangered. According to US Authorities CITES permits are required for the export of Lion Meat and this has not been applied for. I think that Lions SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED to be killed and eaten, whether there is a permit or not. I find this cruel to the animals. You wouldn't eat your house cat or your dog would you? I'm afraid that this particular practice will never be stopped.
