Demand City of Burnaby stop mega densification of our neighborhoods

The BC Government recently passed laws eliminating ALL single family neighbourhoods. Now, developers have the right to build 4 to 6 houses on each lot, (and, in some single family neighbourhoods towers up to 20 storeys). At the same time, the City of Burnaby increased density well beyond the Prov of BC guidelines. Huge units are now being built that end neighbour privacy, block views and sunlight, result in massive tree removal, cause parking and traffic chaos and destroy the character of our neighborhoods. All of this without transparency or consultation by either the City of Burnaby, or the BC Provincial government. The City of Burnaby wants to add the density with their new Official Community Plan( Burnaby 2050)
We the residents of Burnaby demand that the City of Burnaby stop the increased densification contained in the Official Community Plan (OCP) and engage the community to develop planned thoughtful growth in our neighborhoods.
