Stop the use of Public Beach Access at Phil Fosters Park, Singer Island

Phil Fosters Park on Singer Island houses a unique and diverse Marine Ecosystem that needs to be protected and cherished.
It is home to many species of fish, coral, skates, rays, octopus ,seahorses ,crabs, starfish and more. Many of the creatures are right in the shallows next to the shore where children and people can step on them. The area has shown a decrease in species like starfish. Brittle-worms which can be very painful to step on, as well as electric skates and the venomous stone-fish have been known to sit right off the beach shore next to the bridge.
The area has a large Barracuda population as well.
The Park gets crowded and the area right next to the water gets polluted with trash and humans. The crowd noise can be overwhelming when trying to enjoy a calm past-time like snorkeling.
This tiny stretch of Beach should not be open to beach goer-s and is not safe for children. The park should only be open to people snorkeling or scuba-diving or boating.
Please sign today to protect this wonderful and fragile ecosystem and remove the tiny public beaches access when there are 3 beautiful beaches within 1 mile of the park.
