We Need Longer School Weekends !!

We propose that Camden County Schools increases the number of days in their weekends from 2 days to 3 days a week, making the days we are off Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Reasons for longer weekends:

- It can save money, in fact, the National Conference of State Legislators examined 120 districts in 21 schools and found these school districts had saved between 0.5 to 2.4% of their annual budgets.

- It can improve the performances of students. In fact, Georgia State University and Montana State University had found that increasing the number of days of school weekends to 3 days can increase the performance of students.
