Steven Avery & Brendan Dassey have been wrongfully imprisoned for the murder of Teresa Halbach! They were never given a fair trial, evidence was tampered with & there were holes in the entire investigation. The Manitowac police had a vendetta against Steven, they wrongfully & also knowingly got him sent to prison in 1985 for a crime he didn't commit. He was released from prison in 2003 after 18 years! He was only home for 2 years before the Manitowac police did it again! Brendan is Stevens nephew, at the time of Stevens second arrest Brendan was 16 years old & has mental disabilities. The police interviewed Brendan without his parents or a lawyer present, was put under the impression that if he said what the Manitowac police wanted him to say he could go home - Brendan was coerced into making up a story/confession that Steven & himself murderd Teresa but none of it was true. Brendan didn't understand fully what was going on & the Manitowac police used that to their advantage! Not only are two men being wrongfully imprisoned but the person who did this to Teresa Halbach is still out there & the Manitowac sheriffs department have been allowed to get away with doing this to two innocent people!!
