Pledge to boycott the state of Louisiana by not visiting, not buying any products and not spending a red cent in the state until they start taking animal abuse seriously. Here are just a few cases:
- Bastrop, LA. Two men plead guilty to felony animal abuse after torturing a sweet dog named Choppa, slitting his throat with a dull knife, laughing while he died and posted it on Snapchat. Judge Carl Sharp thought it was no big deal, the killers got away with no jail time.
- Bastrop, LA. Since there wasn't any prison time for Choppa's killers, a group of people decided to copycat a dog killing by shooting a very pregnant yellow lab named Grace, carefully shooting her in places that would cause her death to be slow and painful, laughing while recording it on Snapchat. Will the judge that hears this case think this is no big deal? Well based on recent cases, maybe so.
- Opelousas, LA. A man plead guilty to animal abuse after he starved, neglected and poured battery acid on the back of a horse named Dr. Drip who was once a champion racehorse who earned $250,000 dollars. The horse was being eaten alive by maggots when rescuers got to him. He had to be euthanized. Judge Alonzo Smith thought it was no big deal, the abuser got away with no jail time.
