Help Save the Planet Earth from Climate Change!

We are never going to give up our gas consuming cars and trucks in mass numbers before climate change runs out of control.......
The heart of the problem is that the planet is slightly too warm. Scientist have already come up with a plan to filter out some of the Suns radiation. A large space sunscreen that would be placed in orbit around the sun..... Would provide a cooler climate, keep the polar caps from melting, lessen the effects of global warming.
The Solar Sun screen could be unmanned and its effects could be reversed by simply changing its position. So for instance if we had a large volcanic eruption at Yellowstone National Park that would cool the earth's climate, then we could simply send a command to the sunscreen to move slightly in order to regain the sun's radiation.
This could have an additional benefit of reduced skin cancer cases!!!!
The cost would be considerably less than raising all the coastal cities around the world!!!!!
