Electronic voting machines are easily hacked to alter the outcome of elections, and it's really happening now. There is plenty of evidence that this is happening now! According to a White House advisor on Science and Technology Policy, "a criminal who can inject malicious software into this voting machine can control how the votes are tallied. His malicious software can steal votes, and it can cover its tracks so that the theft cannot be detected." Many voters have reported incidents of machines switching the name from one candidate to another when they attempt to vote. Sometimes the machines simply don't work, making it impossible for voters to even cast their votes.
Our democracy is at stake. The welfare of our citizens and also the welfare of the world is at stake. We cannot allow our elections to be manipulated in this manner. Without fair and honest elections, our country is in grave danger. There is no democracy when elections are rigged.
As these machines are manifestly insecure, they must be banned immediately, prior to the presidential election. Moreover, in every state where there have been issues with irregularities of voting machines in the primary elections, using paper ballots should be allowed for Voting, including but not limited to Arizona and New York.
