Save The Old Grapes

The Old Grapes is a splendid traditional public house in the centre of Manchester. The Building owners are threatening its existence by proposing to turn the space into a new entrance for their building – Sunlight House which is listed - which already has an adequate entrance. Manchester – like many places – is seeing the demise of the traditional pub due to the abundance of faceless wine bars and this is bad for existing establishments, our heritage and tourism. Please help to keep this pub open by signing this petition asking Manchester City Council to block planning permission for this proposal.
