Close PA's Corporate Loopholes

Governor Corbett thinks corporations need another tax break.  Urge your legislator to give working families a break instead.

For too long, large, profitable corporations have been able to game Pennsylvania’s tax system to avoid paying their share, forcing the rest of us to pick up the slack.  Now, Governor Corbett has announced a plan to cut Pennsylvania’s corporate income tax by 30%…without closing a single loophole.

Governor Corbett said we had to cut more than $1 billion from public schools and colleges, yet looks the other way on corporate tax loopholes.  He says we cannot afford health care for tens of thousands of kids and working adults, but there is plenty of money to fund tax breaks for profitable corporations.

Ask your legislators to close tax loopholes.  Profitable corporations should pay their fair share toward our schools and communities.

Dear Legislator,

As a Pennsylvania taxpayer, I urge you to oppose Governor Corbett’s unfair corporate tax giveaway.  His proposal cuts corporate income taxes by 30% without closing a single loophole.

For too long, profitable corporations have used tax loopholes to dodge their fair share of the cost of our schools, colleges, and health care for children, while hardworking Pennsylvania families pick up the slack.

It is time to close tax loopholes and make sure profitable corporations pay their fair share to support our schools and communities.
