Support CASA BEAN establishment - stop it from being shut down!

To keep the business running which provides a place for people - Locals and non locals to unwind and enjoy quality coffees and retailed goods. We in no way see our establishment as an A3 license and do not serve or cook hot foods on the premises.

Council notice to Casa Bean -
Under the 2005 Amendments to the Use Classes Order 1987 Coffee Shops are decided on a case by case basis, as the prior approval was refused due to the loss of a A1 retail unit. The proposal would cause unacceptable harm to the vitality and viability of the small neighbourhood centre contrary to the Local Plan policy TC5 (Managing Neighbourhood Centres and Isolated Local Shops).

The Casa Bean has been identified as in A3 premises use therefore; I would expect the activities of the business to cease trading by FRIDAY 14th FEBRUARY 2018.

Two points to consider here with this notice:
1. Decided on a case by case basis - clearly visable that the council can stop this as several big chain coffee shops operate on A1 license but because they are big chains they must get different treatment

2. There are several A3 license holders on the same parade of shops but are not in use as they are using the premises for A1 purposes.

3. The original complaint came from a councillor local to our area and working for the Hounslow borough - there is a lot more to this but I will leave it at this - there is a clear abuse of power and agenda fuelled problem here.
