Proper Bathroom Hygiene. Let me be the first to say that I am a little OCD and somewhat of a germaphobe. That being said I am concerned there is an epidemic of improper bathroom hygiene in this country. The other day I walked into a public bathroom that was occupied because the occupant failed to lock the door. I was horrified when I observed an individual sitting on the toilet wiping his buttocks with his right hand. It later dawned on me that the majority of individuals are right handed and due to poor parenting Americans are not properly trained at an early age that proper wiping is done with the left hand only. The right hand is used for eating and greeting others and many other task and should never be used for wiping. Would you want to shake the hand of someone who just used that same hand to wipe their back side. Even the Bible speaks of this. In many other countries they actively teach that proper wiping is only done with the left hand and that the left hand is considered unclean bad luck or just no good. Right handed wiping is vile and uncivilized and should be a criminal act punishable by imprisonment. I encourage everyone to stand up and speak out against right handed wiping. Please sign my petition to pass legislation making right handed wiping a criminal act.
