River Rwizi is the main source of water for people living in nine districts in Western Uganda ie Mbarara, Kiruhura, Buhweju, Bushenyi, Sheema, Isingiro, Lyantonde, Rakai and Ntungamo and is currently drying up. These nine districts have an estimated population of about 4 million in total. So if it dries up all these people and their livestock will find it hard to get water. Thus death of their cattle.
