Stop the stray dog slaughter in Sofia, Bulgaria

Ten days ago an university professor was attacked by a kennel of 8 stray dogs in the capital city of Bulgaria, Sofia. The mayor of the city decided to benefit from this personal tragedy and ordered for all the stray dogs to be captured and taken into the so called "animal shelter" where to be euthanized. There's no single specialist in this shelter to establish whether the dogs are aggressive or not, or whether the captured dogs are exactly the ones which attacked the person. Please stop the salughter of these innocent animals whose only fault is that they were born in the street and in a country where animal rights are just on paper and the local authorities don't give a damn about them.
