We want a new dress code!

We have recently been told that we are no longer allowed to wear fingertip length shorts, now they have to be 3 inches above the knee. As warmer weather was starting tomorrow to come our way we wanted to wear shorts. Our shorts were fingertip length, that same morning our principal got on the intercom and announced that shorts have to be three inches above the knee. All of us got dress coded that day. Fingertip length was one thing, but three inches is another. The women in our grade are not treated as equals to the men, they wear tanks, holes at the top of their pants, and shorts. We are just trying to be heard and treated equally. Please consider what we are trying to do. Thank you, the WOMEN of Harris Road Middle School.
