End the countless arrests on hearsay in NC!

Most states in the us will not allow hearsay to be a legal form of evidence to have anyone arrested or prosecuted, However in north carolina this is the norm. A person could just have a grudge against someone call the police state and issue then go to a magistrate sign a paper and have the person arrested and aside from missing days at work, time in a cell till seeing the judge,paying bail and defamation of character they also risk being punished for a crime never committed. This is injustice and should be stopped. There should be a requirement for real evidence witnesses who have no bias or even a police witness. So far they act like this is acceptable and aside from abusing the lower and middle class people they waste possibly millions in taxes on useless court cases and police time. This civil war era set of laws needs to change!
