Don't let Republicans avoid tough questions about Texas floods and Trump's culpability.

When Donald Trump took office, he unleashed his minions to make massive cuts to government, seemingly without any rational process whatsoever, beyond "eeny meeny miny mo."  These cuts included critical personnel and infrastructure at the National Weather Service, including many who were key parts of the weather disaster forecasting and warning system.

Trump was warned that these cuts could result in horriffic consequences.  But he went ahead anyway, and we've seen what has happened.

Democrats have called for an immediate investigation, to determine what went wrong, and how we can fix it ASAP.  But Republicans, fearful of a spotlight being aimed at their incompetence, have been saying "now is not the time" for it, and calling for "prayer" instead.

Don't let them get away with this.  They are trying to run out the clock, until people start to focus on other news and events. Now is EXACTLY time to figure out what happened, and fix it, while people are focused on it.  And if people want to pray or mourn however they see fit, fine, but we need to take action as well.
