The constant cut though traffic from Autumn Glen and other subdivisions connected to Bocovina continue to be an ongoing issue. With constant speeding through our subdivision, mainly on Carpathian and Suchava threatens the safety of our children, pets, and fellow neighbors. With the increase of children now living in our subdivision and riding bikes they are at risk of serious injury or worse. This petition is to propose the installation of speed bumps to control the traffic speed throughout the entire Bocovina subdivision. In addition to speed bumps or humps a secondary petition will be created to install a private entry gate at the corner of Carpathian and Carpathian Drive or at the end of Bocovina II on Suchava, with remote control access for all residents of Bocovina and Bocovina Phase II only. This will not only provide safety to our community but will help sustain our private roads from ongoing damage from the cut through traffic. With the addition of several surrounding subdivisions being built the threat of increased cut through traffic (upwards to 1,000 cars per day) our roads will not sustaing this amount of traffic in addtion to the speeding concerns and careless of driving of people cutting through our subdivision.
