Alaska's Statehood Vote was a Sham

Alaska was denied it's right, according to Article 76b of the United Nations Charter, to the option of becoming an independent nation when the Alaska statehood vote was taking place in 1958. Furthermore, many Alaskan Natives were not given the opportunity to vote due to the inability to read or speak English. This was before the U.S. Voting Rights Act of 1965 when ballots were only given in English. It is important and proper that Alaska be given the opportunity to vote on all the options which a territory has; whether to become a state, stay a territory, or become an independent nation. Alaska was denied the last option during it's statehood vote in 1958. Alaska has the right to this option and a statehood revote must take place to see where Alaska stands.
